The forged aluminum motorcycle handlebar lower clamp is the lower half of a handlebar clamp. It has a Y-shaped body with curved clamping seats on the upper two branches and a downward post that bolts to the top clamp or a riser. Together with the upper clamp it grips the handlebar tube and sets the bar’s height and position.
The Y shape creates corners between the clamping seats and post, which form the main path for steering forces into the fork.
